American Medical Depot and Beacon Point Associates have won separate contracts worth $94M combined from the Defense Logistics Agency to deliver medical or surgical supplies to U.S. military services and federal civilian agencies.
DLA awarded $49M to Beacon Point and another $45M to AMD after two competitive acquisition efforts with a total of 27 proposals received, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Both contractors will perform work in Florida over a five-year period.
The agency will finance the contract services with defense working capital funds for fiscal 2019 through fiscal 2024.
The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps can place orders through the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts.
