Four independent firms and two joint ventures have won spots on a potential seven-year, $200M contract to provide construction and maintenance services for U.S. Air Force projects aimed at promoting transportation safety and efficiency.
Contractors will compete for task orders to build and maintain roadways, bridges, airfields, runways and parking areas at five military air bases and at the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The 50th Contracting Squadron received 14 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity firm-fixed-price contract via a competitive acquisition process.
Work is scheduled to conclude by March 2026.
