General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business has received a potential $155.6M task order from the U.S. Navys Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division to support a virtual enterprise network for the F-35 Joint Program Office.
The company said Thursday it will provide IT, information assurance and cybersecurity services under the task order with two base years and three option years.
Work also includes program and life cycle management; operations and maintenance; enterprise architecture and data management; implementation; IT training; and help desk support.
“We are excited to bring a full platform of next-generation services as the primary IT provider of the F-35 JPO,” said Leigh Palmer, senior vice president of GDIT’s defense unit.
The order falls under a contract previously awarded to General Dynamics One Source via the General Services Administration’s Alliant procurement vehicle.
