Four Firms to Compete for Waste Services Orders Under $72M Army Contract

AECOM (NYSE: ACM), Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC)’s technology business unit, a North WindEA joint venture and Stantec Consulting Services have received spots on a $72M contract for waste services in support of the U.S. Army.

The four firms will bid for orders to manage the Army’s hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste under the firm-fixed-price contract, the Defense Department said Friday.

The service branch will assign performance locations and funds with each order as the companies work to finish tasks by Nov. 1, 2023.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers sourced for these services via online solicitation and received seven proposals.
