E3 Federal Solutions and Washington, D.C.-based government services contractor The Sentinel Company have merged to form a combined firm that seeks to support clients in the federal services market.
Sentinel CEO Andy Maner will lead the combined entity as CEO and Everett Johnson will continue to oversee E3s daily operations as president, the companies said in a joint release Tuesday.
The McLean, Va.-based combined firm will operate with more than 700 employees and deliver information technology, systems engineering, mission consulting, program management and other technical services to defense, intelligence and other federal agencies.
Todays continuously evolving federal market is demanding mid-sized companies that can develop solutions for fast-moving missions and requirements, Maner said.
Maner added the newly combined firm will leverage NewSpring Holdings operational edge and capital to advance growth efforts in the federal sector.
NewSpring acquired Sentinel in September as part of its move to expand its footprint in the federal services market.
