Northrop, NASA Eye Oct. 6 Launch for Ionospheric Connection Explorer


TYSONS CORNER, VA, September 5, 2018 ” Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and NASA have scheduled an early October launch for a Pegasus XL rocket that would carry a spacecraft designed to study the Earth’s ionosphere, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The team has replaced a faulty sensor and has now moved the previous June liftoff of the Ionospheric Connection Explorer from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station to Oct. 6, NASA said in a blog post published Aug. 29.
