Northrop Adds RapidSOS Tech to Emergency Caller Location Service


TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 6, 2018 ” Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has partnered with RapidSOS to integrate their emergency response technologies and deliver a service that will work to enable first responders to locate people seeking help via connected devices such as smartphones, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The RapidSOS Next-Generation 911 Clearinghouse system will be added into Northrop’s Computer-Aided Dispatch suite with the goal to ensure accuracy and efficiency in identifying the location of 911 callers as part of public safety operations, Northrop said Thursday.
