Mitre Starts Prize Challenge on Verification of Federal Benefit Payments


TYSONS CORNER, VA, August 8, 2018 ” Mitre has launched a challenge for entrepreneurs, college students, government representatives as well as for-profit and nonprofit organizations that aims to address the issue of improper payments under federal benefit programs, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The eight-week-long Strengthening Eligibility Verification Challenge will award up to $50,000 for approaches and systems that are innovative, cost-effective, user-friendly and geared to ensure data privacy to enhance verification procedures on the eligibility of benefit enrollees, Mitre said Monday.
