Report: IBM, Lockheed, Other Companies to Advise New White House Council on US Workforce


TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 20, 2018 ” IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) are among the companies that have been named to an advisory board for a new council co-led by Labor Secretary Alex Acosta and Presidential Adviser Ivanka Trump that focuses on the U.S. workforce, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Bloomberg reported Thursday the National Council for the American Worker seeks to help the administration address the potential displacement of human workers in the U.S. due to automation.
