Robert Sanders, a more than 20-year aerospace and defense industry veteran, has taken a new role as vice president of Ensco‘s avionics subsidiaries in the U.S. and Canada.
Ensco said Tuesday Sanders will lead two businesses that offer avionics engineering products and services to the aerospace sector.
He previously worked at Honeywell (NYSE: HON) as chair of its corporate technology council focused on research and development of displays and computing technology, as well as managed its aircraft electronics product line.
His industry career also includes various positions at Barco, Elbit Systems of America (Nasdaq: ESLT), ITT and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
Sanders was a naval aviator at the U.S. Marine Corps before he joined the private sector.
