Adam Taylor, formerly chief strategy officer at Veritiv (NYSE: VRTV), has joined Parsons as chief transformation and operations officer.
Parsons said Monday Taylor will lead efforts to transform the company into a data-based, cognitive technology provider and align its operating model with key market trends.
His responsibilities include oversight of corporate operations previously managed by the retiring Mike Loose.
Chuck Harrington, chairman and CEO of Parsons, said Taylor brings nearly 20 years of strategic management, mergers and acquisitions, innovation and corporate development experience to his new position.
Taylor previously worked as vice president of strategy, corporate development and innovation at Office Depotand held strategy and business development roles AT&T (NYSE: T).
