Brent Harvey, formerly corporate chief audit executive of Parsons, has been appointed as the company’s chief risk officer.
He will oversee portfolio, enterprise and project risk functions that Chief Risk Adviser Tom Roell previously managed, Parsons said Monday.
Roell, who concurrently holds the vice chairman post, will retire later this year and continue to support the company in an interim advisory role.
Prior to his current role, Harvey served as director of business development at Parsons’ environmental and water infrastructure business.
His more than 25-year tenure at the company encompasses sector management, corporate finance and project management and engineering of environmental remediation efforts.
