Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has secured a $211.3 million contract from the U.S. Navy to conduct pre-modernization work on F-35 Block 4.1 common systems.
Efforts under the contract will be part of the F-35 preliminary design review for the U.S. Air Force and international partners, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
The Naval Air Systems Command will obligate $45 million at the time of award from USAF’s fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds along with international partnership funds.
