Alex Liu, a partner of A.T. Kearney over the past 22 years, has been elected to serve as managing partner and chairman at the Chicago-based management consulting services provider by the end of April.
He will succeed Johan Aurik, who has served for two terms since he took the reins in 2012, A.T. Kearney said Wednesday.
Liu joined the company in 1996 and has since advised CEOs, leadership teams and boards of multiple communications, media and technology firms worldwide.
He previously held a brand management position at Procter & Gamble and served as a partner at The Boston Consulting Group prior to joining A.T. Kearney.
Earlier in his career, he was the CEO of a startup technology company.
