DMEA Picks 3 to Offer Engineering Services Under $800M ATSP4 Small Business Contract Vehicle

The Defense Microelectronics Activity has awarded three companies positions on a potential 10-year, $800 million contract vehicle to provide engineering services to help the agency develop technology insertions and applications in support of the Defense Department™s requirements.

The award is for the small business track of the Advanced Technology Support Program IV indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, DoD said Friday.

RF Integration, Teledevices and a joint venture of Alpha Research & Technology, Desert Microelectronics Associates and MicroNet Solutions will compete for task orders to address issues with electronics software and hardware under the ATSP4 SB contract’s 10-year ordering period.

DMEA received 11 proposals for the multiple-award contract that also includes support for foreign military sales-related work.

The award came nearly two years after DMEA selected eight companies for the potential 10-year, $7.2 billion full-and-open portion of ATSP4.
