The Department of Health and Human Services has awarded six companies positions on a potential five-year, $139 million blanket purchase agreement for information technology support services.
HHS said Thursday the second Next Generation IT Services BPA covers data center operations; network and security operations; and maintenance, testing and deployment of software and related IT systems.
Awardees under NGITS BPA are:
ActioNet
CSRA (NYSE: CSRA)
Leidos (NYSE: LDOS)
NuAxis
Peraton
Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC)
HHS office of the chief information officer awarded the first task order to SAIC to provide data center, service desk and call center support to the departments staff and operating divisions.
The task order seeks to separate service desk and call center operations in an effort to improve user experience and reduce response times for customers.
HHS awarded the application hosting BPA in September 2017 with plans to award the program management integration and engineering BPAs this year through the NGITS program.
