Terak will provide direction to the federal markets groups business programs and help develop, assess and target new opportunities and customers through the companys office in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, Michael Baker International said Tuesday.
He is a 30-year company veteran who leads the Army market segment as part of the firm’s Defense Department business in which he manages sales and marketing operations, tactical action plan and strategy development initiatives.
Michael Baker International also appointed three other executives as part of the expansion of its federal markets practice to facilitate service delivery to clients and handle growth opportunities in the federal business sector.
Jeff Sparrow, national market lead for the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will elevate to the role of national market lead for federal civilian clients.
Sparrow will oversee proposal development, capture planning and new client relationships through the firms office in Alexandria, Virginia.
Bill Shiderly, senior program manager for the firms defense market, has been named national market lead for the Army and USACE.
Shiderly will collaborate with other DoD and federal national market leads to provide strategic growth and build up the companys defense and federal market programs through the companys Pennsylvania-based office.
John Alberghini, a 20-year U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps veteran, has been appointed national market lead for the Navy.
He will work with practice leaders and client service teams to develop strategic and tactical plans for new business opportunities through the firms office in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
