McKesson Awarded $400M DLA Picture Archiving, Comms System Supply IDIQ

McKesson‘s technologies business has received a potential 10-year, $400 million Defense Logistics Agency contract to supply and maintain digital imaging network picture archiving and communications systems to U.S. military branches and federal civilian agencies.

The Defense Department said Friday DLA received nine offers for the competitively sourced fifth contract under the DIN-PACS procurement effort.

DIN-PACS functions as an open system network of digital devices built to help multiple users acquire, transmit, display and manage diagnostic imaging studies, according to a FedBizOpps summary.

The contract has a five-year base period, followed by another five-year option period that could extend work through Dec. 15, 2027.

Contract work will occur in Georgia and various locations within and outside the continental U.S.
