Inmarsat Sets Web-Based Messaging Service for Maritime Safety Info Providers


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 16, 2017 ” Inmarsat has launched a new service that will facilitate international broadcast and automatic reception for the distribution of maritime safety information, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday SafetyNET II works to advance efforts to update the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System and transition maritime safety information providers to web-based communications.
