The Defense Department said Thursday MTSI will help MDA engineer sensor, directed energy and space systems as well as support BMDS training, operations engineering and concurrent testing activities as part of efforts to help protect allies, regional interests and deployed forces.
MDA received four proposals for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract via a competitive procurement on FedBizOpps and obligated $2.5 million in fiscal 2017 and 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
MTSI will perform work in Alabama, Colorado, Massachusetts and Virginia through October 2019.
