Steve McMillan
Steve McMillan, formerly senior vice president of Oracle‘s (NYSE: ORCL) customer success and managed cloud services business, has been appointed to serve as executive VP of global services business at F5 Networks (Nasdaq: FFIV).
He will formally join the Seattle-based application delivery networking technology provider Oct. 9, F5 said in a regulatory filing Tuesday.
McMillan joined Oracle in 2015 after he previously held a nearly 20-year career with IBM (NYSE: IBM).
His time at IBM has included roles within the technology firm’s global services unit such as chief information officer and transformation executive; and VP for large financial services, information technology services and global integrated technology services.
F5 also said in its regulatory filing that EVP and Chief Operations Officer Edward Eames is due to retire from his current roles by Nov. 3.
