An NTT Data division has received a potential two-year, $82 million contract extension from the U.S. Navy to continue to provide lifecycle management and acquisition support for the service branchs submarine fleet.
The Naval Sea Systems Command awarded the extension to NTT Data Services as an option to the previously awarded Enterprise Wide Contractor Support Services contract, the company said Monday.
The company will continue to deliver support services to NAVSEAs team submarine across logistics, engineering, programmatic, financial management, business and technical areas.
Tim Conway, public sector president at NTT Data and an inductee into Executive Mosaics Wash100 for 2017, said the company is honored with the contract extension that seeks to reflect NTT Datas partnership with the Navy for three decades and commitment to support NAVSEAs mission.
