Gildersleeve, from Alfred, Maine, is an aircraft avionics technician. Valle, from El Paso, Texas, is a crewchief. Bohman, from Cincinnati, Ohio, is a CH-53E pilot. The Marines are with Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, forward deployed as part of the unit deployment program, with 1st Marine Aircraft Wing.
