TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 21, 2017 Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) CEO Tony Moraco has said in the company’s recent earnings call that he anticipates government contracting activity will increase for the rest of fiscal year 2017, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
FCW reported June 14 that Moraco, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, told investors that the approved funding bill for fiscal 2017 and the administration’s budget request for fiscal 2018 indicate government priorities that are in line with SAIC’s focus areas in cybersecurity, military readiness and IT monetization.
“I think we have a very strong submitted [contract bid] pipeline and would expect our share of those submitted to convert to awards,” he said.
