Kenneth Saenz, formerly a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), has been named an executive vice president of management and technology services contractor Allegheny Science & Technology.
He will oversee energy market-related programs and help AST identify capability areas to deliver program management support and technologies to industry and government partners, the company said Monday.
AST CEO Arria Hines said Saenzs experience and knowledge of industry and government energy markets would help the company advance its growth strategies.
Saenz has at least three decades experience in business development, planning, operations, technology planning and marketing for commercial and government clients in the areas of energy, consumer products and transportation.
He spent 15 years at Booz Allen where he managed the companys defense energy business and fossil energy practice in the government sector.
Before that, he also worked as a principal at IBM (NYSE: IBM) and as a managing director at MCI Systemhouse.
