Raytheon Lands Navy Contract for Assembly, Tests of Airborne Mine Neutralization System


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 31, 2017 ” Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) will work on the assembly, fabrication and testing of airborne counter-mine systems under a potential $58.1 million contract from the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The Defense Department said Friday the contract awarded to Raytheon’s integrated defense systems business also covers engineering and other services in support of the AN/ASQ-235 Airborne Mine Neutralization System that works to neutralize bottom and moored naval mines.
