Orbital ATK Secures $76M in Army Orders for Small-Caliber Ammunition


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 26, 2017 ” Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) will supply 0.50-caliber ammunition to the U.S. Army under orders worth $76 million combined following a similar order for small-caliber rounds in April, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The company said Wednesday its defense systems group will produce the ammunition at its Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Missouri in support of U.S. and allied soldiers.
