Microsoft to Use Palo Alto Networks Firewall on Azure Gov’t Cloud


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 11, 2017 — Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) has added Palo Alto Networks‘ (NYSE: PANW) VM-Series virtualized firewall as a tool on the Azure Government Cloud, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The inclusion of the firewall on the cloud platform serves to help public sector customers protect their applications and data with functions that work to control applications in use, authorize user access and automate security or policy updates, Microsoft said Monday.
