Norway Agency OKs Purchase of 5 Boeing-Made Poseidon Aircraft


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 4, 2017 ” Norway’s defense procurement agency has signed a deal for the procurement of five Boeing-made (NYSE: BA) P-8A Poseidon to support military maritime surveillance operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The agency said Friday the country also plans to buy associated sensors, monitoring and support systems as well as anti-submarine weapons from the U.S. as part of a $1.75 billion foreign military sales deal approved by the State Department in December.
