Vern Kuehn
Vern Kuehn, formerly a senior vice president at Omaha, Nebraska-based construction, mining and engineering services contractor Kiewit, has been appointed executive VP and general manager of AECOM‘s(NYSE: ACM) newly created federal construction business.
He will be based at AECOM’s office in Arlington, Virginia, and lead the new unit’s efforts to help federal government clients execute design-build projects, the company said Tuesday.
The company’s federal construction business aims to work with the State Department, General Services Administration and military agencies.
Kuehn moved to AECOM in February as an executive VP after a nearly 20-year career at Kiewit, where he also served as project manager and project executive.
He is former president and board member of the Associated General Contractors of Metro DC.
