In spite of investors experiencing the Trump’s administration inability to pass healthcare legislation; the 0.25 percent increase in Federal Fund Rates (with strong speculation of more increases to come later in the year), the U.K. triggering Article 50, and the downward pressure on the energy sector and oil prices from the global oil glut the GovCon Index and major markets turned in strong first quarter results.

WTI closed the day at $50.78 up $0.43 as the markets responded to the speculation that OPEC will remain with the limited production runs in hopes that will ease the global oil glut.
