Rohit Ghai, president of Dell EMC’s enterprise content division, has been appointed president of Dell Technologies’ (NYSE: DVMT) RSA subsidiary.
He will succeed Amit Yoran, who was named chairman and CEO of Tenable Network Security in December.
Ghai will oversee the delivery of RSA’s security platforms that work to help customers manage business risks, RSA said Monday.
He previously served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of products and solutions within Dell EMC’s information intelligence group.
Prior to Dell EMC, he spent four years at Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) where he served as VP and general manager as well as VP of engineering at the company’s Storage Foundation.
Ghai also served as chief technology officer at CA Technologies’ (Nasdaq: CA) Indian arm and VP and GM of the firm’s BrighStor business unit.
He also worked for three years at Cheyenne Software as development manager and software engineer.
Dell EMC and RSA are among the businesses that operate under the Dell Technologies brand, which was formed after Dell and EMC completed their $67 billion cash-and-stock merger in September.
