The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded 142 companies positions on a potential eight-year, $6 billion contract to compete for a range of information technology task orders in support of DLA and other Defense Department agencies.
DLA awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive procurement process and will obligate defense working capital funds from fiscal 2017 through 2025 upon the award of task orders, DoD said Thursday.
The DLA J6 Enterprise Technology Services acquisition vehicle covers 21 IT, technical and management task areas in support of the agencys information operations office, program offices and other DoD agencies, according to a FedBizOpps notice.
These task areas include network and telecommunications, information assurance, sustainment and maintenance, configuration management, enterprise data strategy, systems engineering, test and documentation, virtual workforce training, financial budget and IT audit readiness support services.
The companies will perform work across the U.S. and Germany through Dec. 21, 2024, under the contract, which has a five-year base period and three option years.
