CA Technologies (Nasdaq: CA) has named Kieran McGrath, previously interim chief financial officer, to executive vice president and CFO in a move that takes effect immediately.
McGrath will report directly to CEO Mike Gregoire and manage the company’s global corporate and business unit financial functions, encompassing controller role, treasury, tax, investor relations and risk management functions, CA Technologies said Monday.
Kieran has become an integral part of our management team, demonstrating both the strategic vision and the business acumen to capitalize on our opportunities and help shape the future of CA Technologies, ” said Gregoire.
“His effectiveness comes from his combined experience in driving new, higher growth software businesses while maintaining vibrancy in more mature product platforms, along with his collaborative and results-oriented spirit.”
McGrath joined CA Technologies as corporate controller in 2014 to oversee accounting, financial planning, pricing, business development, investor relations, business controls and enterprise risk management functions.
He held a three-decade career at IBM (NYSE: IBM) and led the finance team for Big Blue’s software business prior to his appointment at CA Technologies.
