Michael Grasso, a 35-year veteran and former vice president of government relations at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has joined Engility (NYSE: EGL) as senior vice president of business development and strategic planning for the government services contractor.
Grasso’s career at Lockheed includes time as VP of business development for the defense contractor’s former information systems and global services segment’s civil division that generated nearly $4.2 billion in sales during his tenure there.
He has established a number of industry partnerships and has led business development teams in work with agencies such as the departments of Defense, Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs; as well as NASA and the FBI.
