Hughes, Klas Telecom, GetSAT & NexTech Combine Tech for Satcom-on-the-Move Platform


GPS satelliteTYSONS CORNER, VA, July 28, 2016 ” Hughes Network Systems has teamed with Klas Telecom, GetSAT and NexTech Solutions to develop and demonstrate a mobile satellite communications technology that supports voice, data and video, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Klas Telecom said Tuesday the communications-on-the-move platform has been used mounted on a sport utility vehicle and on a U.S. Navy watercraft, which were both moving at high speeds.
