AECOM Lands $100M DFW Airport Program, Construction Management Contract

AECOMAECOM (NYSE:ACM) has been awarded a five-year, $100 million contract to provide program and construction management services for a number of projects at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport that include work on federally- and non-federally-funded airfield and landside sites.

The company said Monday that it will support the airport’s design, code and construction department with full project lifecycle services that encompass contract administration, program and project controls, public outreach, technical third-party support and program, project, design and construction management.

DFW handles more than 64 million passengers per year and is the U.S.’ fourth-busiest airport, according to the company.

AECOM anticipates that 40 percent of the contract’s funds will be allotted to subcontract qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises.

Under a separate arrangement with DFW, the company leads joint venture team responsible for design and design management services in support of the airport’s $2.7 billion Terminal Renewal and Improvement Program.
