The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector leaders selected by Executive Mosaics organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential voices in the GovCon sector and recognized for their push to drive vision, innovation and achievement on behalf of American citizens.
Harris spoke to ExecutiveBiz in an interview in September 2015 to talk about trends and strategies in the government enterprise IT market.
CIOs and other senior leaders in agencies must share responsibility in a people-process-and-technology discussion on decisions, practices and policies across every person in the enterprise in order to become a truly secure agency, he told ExecutiveBiz then.
Harris was appointed to his current role in 2014 where he heads the business line’s IT work for customers in the U.S. government.
The inductee previously worked as Dell’s assistant vice president for local government and education business.
During his 17-year career in the company, Harris has also held leadership positions for Dell’s SLED organization and healthcare clients.
“The resilient GovCon market is primed for an exciting year of growth and recovery in 2016. The leaders that will demonstrate skills in leadership, innovation, reliability, achievement, and vision are included in our selection of this year’s 2016 Wash100 awards, ” said Jim Garrettson, President and Founder of Executive Mosaic. Garrettson went on to say “These winners represent those leaders with standing in the GovCon community most like to shape the big events of 2016.”
