Navy Tests General Atomics’ Aircraft Arrestment Gear With Boeing’s Super Hornet

The test at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst checked the functionality of the Advanced Arresting Gear to control the deceleration of the carrier-based Super Hornet as the Navy plans to install the system on the future USS John F. Kennedy, General Atomics said Friday.
