General Dynamics Names Firat Gezen President of Ordnance & Tactical Systems Business


general dynamics logoGeneral Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has appointed Firat Gezen, formerly chief operating officer of its ordnance and tactical systems arm, as the unit’s president following the retirement of Michael Wilson.

The company said Friday Gezen, who was also elected as corporate vice president, will assume his new role on May 1 and will report to Mark Roualet, executive vice president of the combat systems group.

“Firat has been an instrumental part of the management team at Ordnance and Tactical Systems and he has a deep understanding of our customers, operations and offerings, ” Roualet said.

Gezen joined the business segment in 1998 and held various leadership roles, including vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

He also previously supported various General Dynamics businesses worldwide.
