TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 22, 2016 Stan Ratcliffe, president of NCR‘s (NYSE: NCR) government systems segment, has said the reuse and repurposing of existing technologies can drive efforts to achieve the “to be” state in terms of having technology that supports self-service transactions, ExecutiveBiz reported March 10.
Ratcliffe told ExecutiveBiz in an interview that the company aims to bring this “to be” state to its new customers, the Defense Commissary Agency and Army and Air Force Exchange Service.
“With the technologies that we have, when you define that ‘to be’ state better we can provide the road map to get to that destination in a prompt, efficient and cost-effective manner with the data that you have, as well as building and adding on pieces that make sense, ” he said.
“We are seeing a lot of value being brought to the table, building value on existing systems, maintaining the integrity but also preparing the installed base.”
