Parsons announced a reorganization in January wherein the company introduced five business units, one of which is the federal unit which Hopkins leads.
Among Hopkins several leadership roles at Parsons she was president of the former government services group, and global business development manager and executive vice president for the same group.
Parsons also credits Hopkins for its acquisition of SPARTA, a systems engineering services contractor, from Britain-based company Cobham through a $350 million deal in 2011.
