Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) has secured a potential $250 million contract to provide aerospace testing and facilities operations and maintenance services at NASA‘s Ames Research Center.
The company said Tuesday the ATOM-4 contract also requires information technology system administration and work on Ames’ aerospace testing facilities such as wind tunnels.
Work began Feb. 2 and will continue through a two-year base period and three one-year option periods, Jacobs added.
Ward Johnson, Jacobs senior vice president for aerospace and technology, said the company looks to continue its 17-year experience with the ATOM program and 50-year history of working with NASA.
