Boeing (NYSE: BA) has landed a $276 million contract modification from the U.S Navy to produce and deliver two Lot III P-8A Poseidon multi-mission maritime aircraft.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday work will be performed through February 2019 in the U.K. and in Washington, Maryland, New York, Illinois, California, Utah and other locations in the U.S.
Boeing produced the P-8A Poseidon aircraft, which is based on the Boeing 737, for the Navy after being awarded a contract to replace the P-3 Orion fleet.
