Aleut Awarded $395M Air Force Contract for Cape Canaveral Infrastructure Support


Air ForceColorado Springs, Colorado-based engineering consultant firm Aleut O&M Services has landed a $395 million contract to provide launch operations and infrastructure support to the U.S. Air Force.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract calls for Aleut O&M to provide facility and system operations, maintenance and engineering services at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Aleut O&M is a subsidiary of Aleut Management Services and provides services such as facilities maintenance and operations, IT, public works, utilities and power plant operations, communications, engineering, environmental services, logistics and other related services.

The Patrick Air Force Base 45th Contracting Squadron will obligate $810, 223 from the organization’s fiscal 2015 O&M funds at the time of the award, DoD said.

The contract runs through June 30, 2022, and is a competitive acquisition with eight received offers.
