Lockheed Wins $921M to Provide Hardware, Services for Patriot Missile Upgrade Program

The U.S. Army‘s aviation and missile command has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) $921 million in contracts to provide hardware and services for a missile program, Lockheed announced Monday.

Lockheed is the prime contractor on the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 missile segment upgrade program which includes modification kits, spares and program management.

Lockheed also secured a follow-on contract for the sale of PAC-3 upgrade kits to Taiwan. Lockheed said Taiwan is the fifth international customer to purchase the upgrade.

Deliveries will begin in the first half of 2013.
