ManTech Awarded Navy Ship Noise Deal

ManTech International (NASDAQ:MANT) announced that it was awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy, Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Keyport Division.

According to ManTech, the firm “will provide engineering, programmatic and technical support services for the Surface Ship Radiated Noise Measurement (SSRNM), Fleet Sonar Self Noise (FSSN) and other Navy range acoustic test support programs. The contract has an initial one-year period and four one-year renewal options with a total value of $19.5 million.”

“Around the world, ManTech conducts radiated-noise acoustic data acquisition and analysis at acoustic ranges and provides sonar self-noise analysis support to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) support activities and all U.S. Navy surface anti-submarine warfare combatants, ” said Terry Ryan, president of ManTech’s Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology group. “Our specialized, in-depth acoustic experience ensures continued, outstanding support to our SSRNM customer and other Navy range acoustic test support programs.”
