SAIC Books Deal with EPA

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) has been awarded a task order by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide technical services and information technology (IT) support to the EPA’s Office of Environmental Information (OEI). The follow on task order has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of more than $26 million if all options are exercised.

Work will be performed primarily in the National Capital Region. The task order was awarded under EPA’s Software Engineering and Specialized Scientific Support (SES3) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).

“We are pleased to continue our support of this important customer, helping the EPA sharing important environmental information internally and with all Americans through easy and accessible Web sites and databases, ” said Doug Wagoner, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
