Northrop, Lockheed Claim DoD Deals

According to the Department of Defense: “Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) was awarded on April 16 an $18, 254, 115 firm-fixed-price contract for Type 1 encryption provided by the programmable inline encryption device.  The contract will have a period of performance of five years and a ceiling of $300, 000, 000.  Work is to be performed in Rochester, N.Y., with an estimated completion date of April 16, 2015.  Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web with two bids received. CECOM Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (W15P7T-10-D-B205).

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) was awarded a $12, 784, 439 contract which will provide for the purchase of C-130J peculiar spares for existing base requirements. The bases being supported in this modification include Dyess Air Force Base and Cannon Air Force Base. Additionally, C-130J readiness spares packages and C-130J support equipment for inventory control point are being acquired. At this time, the entire amount has been obligated. 657 AESS, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8625-06-C-6456).”
