ManTech’s Bill Varner on Winning Five New Task Orders

ManTech (NASDAQ: MANT) was awarded five task orders valued at $6 million from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to provide enterprise IT services. The awards, from the USPTO Office of Chief Information Officer, are part of the USPTO Infrastructure, Design, Engineering, Architecture and Integration (IDEAI) contract, a multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, labor hour type contract that ManTech won in August 2008. ManTech is one of three companies awarded contracts under the IDEAI program, which has a one year base, with four option years and a total ceiling of $95 million.

“The USPTO enterprise IT systems, architecture and infrastructure are critical to the overall mission of the agency, ” said Bill Varner, President ManTech Mission, Cyber and Technology Solutions group. “We have supported USPTO for 14 years with proven solutions such as our Usability Design Engineering and Architecture framework. This framework is a best-of-breed approach for developing high-performing user interfaces and architectural analysis.”
